Our Founder's Journey

Pulmo Health Africa was inspired by our founder, Dr. Amutuhaire Edian, who became a mother at 18 while still in school. She experienced firsthand the lack of privacy, judgment-free care, and accessible reproductive health support.

Her journey as a doctor and mother shaped our mission to build private, digital, youth-friendly tools for reproductive and menstrual health.

This shared experience inspired her to create Pulmo Health Africa and develop Pearl AI - a solution that provides private, instant, and stigma-free access to reproductive and menstrual health support through the technology already in girls' pockets.
